Have a beer!

Since November i have cut down on my sugar intake quite a bit (hey, lost nine kilos just by cutting out fizzy drinks and chocolates from my diet and replacing it with fruit and water!)

For the last week or two, i have also stayed away from any alcohol, but last night, i had a light, flavoured beer with my wife… Added to a slice of chocolate cake i had earlier for a birthday celebration, and this morning, i cant hold my bow steady worth a peanut!

So… Was the beer THAT bad?! Actually no, but what my body was reacting to was the change in chemistry. Serious lesson [re]learnt!

Don’t make major changes to your equipment, habits or diet before a big event!
